Week of May 9
Welcome Grammar 5 students!
Grammar/Vocabulary:
Our grammar studies this week will have us primarily focused on reviewing sentence patterns through identification of different types and also through creation of the five patterns.
This week is a Wordly Wise week. There will be homework on Monday and Wednesday nights, with a quiz on Friday.
Reading/ Writing:
We will also continue our read aloud for the quarter: Rascal.
Students will also begin hearing a few tall tales with the goal of creating an imatatio.
We will continue with our scripture memory work and move on to our next poetry memorization, The Charge of the Light Brigade.
