A Campaign for Live Oak Classical School
Branching Out is a campaign to raise $1 million for the renovation of the Motor Shop.
Funds raised through the Branching Out campaign will allow for the renovation of the 12,000 square foot facility located across the street from the current Live Oak host site, First Baptist Church. This new facility will become the face of Live Oak Classical School to the Waco community and will serve as the primary setting for our Logic and Rhetoric schools—boasting ten sizable classrooms, a dedicated science lab, a specialized art room, outdoor nature lab, library, common gathering space and needed offices.
In addition, the renovation will serve to extend the ongoing Waco revitalization efforts along the corridor linking downtown to Baylor University, giving new life to a historic structure.
The additional space will allow Live Oak to grow while remaining in its current location. Centrally located in the heart of Waco, Live Oak students benefit greatly from the school’s proximity to Baylor University, the Mayborn Museum, Cameron Park, the Cameron Park Zoo, and other downtown amenities. Businesses in the area benefit from more than 150 families, faculty and staff who frequent the downtown restaurants and businesses before and after school activities.
Recognizing that only God provides the increase, we are often called upon to till the soil, plant the seed and water the field. Live Oak Classical is asking you to partner with us as we launch our Branching Out Capital Campaign. We need your contribution to give the vision a building. An anonymous donor has established a matching contribution fund for $500,000 which allows the impact of your gift to be doubled. Please consider giving as generously as possible. One time gifts and incremental pledges for three years or five years are excellent means for meeting our million dollar goal.
