The Logic I Science Fair will be held Monday, February 20th, and Tuesday, February 21st in The Commons of the Logic/Rhetoric Campus.  Parents, Grandparents, and friends are invited to view the exhibits on Tuesday evening, the 21st from 6:30-8:00p.m.

Our annual Grandparents’ Day will be held on Friday, March 2nd.  More details to follow soon.

The administration of Live Oak would like to invite you to a coffee at the Logic and Rhetoric Campus.  We want to provide an informal format for feedback about the school and your students’ experiences so we named the event – On Common Ground. Allison Buras and Alison Moffatt will be available from 8 – 9 am for listening and discussing.  Our first meeting of On Common Ground on Feb. 10th was well attended and we had a wonderful morning of answering questions and discussing future plans.  Other opportunities for On Common Ground will be March 23, April 13, and May 4. We would love to get to know you better, answer questions, and think about the future with our parents in this setting.  So drop by for an enjoyable start to your Friday at On Common Ground.

BOX TOPS CLASSROOM CONTEST:
Collection time for the Box Tops, Labels for Education, and Community Coffee UPC labels begins Thursday, January 26 and ends Tuesday, February 21. Grammar students should bring labels and Box Tops to their core teacher’s classroom.  Logic/Rhetoric students should place theirs in the appropriate grade-level containers in the office.  The money and points raised through this effort are used to buy educational materials and improvements for Live Oak.  A flyer with more information will be sent home with your student.
