Head of School

Alison Moffatt: Mrs. Moffatt has been the Head of  Live Oak Classical School for five years and entering her sixth year in this role. Mrs. Moffatt graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University with a BA in English and from Texas A&M with an M Ed in Education Administration.  She previously worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Rice University and taught leadership and student development classes at Dallas Baptist University and the University of Dallas. Three of her children- David (Rh I), Philip (G6) and Kate (G5) attend Live Oak. Her oldest son James is in the autism class at University High.  She is married to Dr. Todd Moffatt.

Grammar School Coordinator

Becky Hankins: Mrs. Hankins is a West Texas native and received both of her degrees from Texas Tech University: a B.S. in Home Economics Education and an M.S. in Family Studies. She is certified to teach K-12 and is also certified in ESL. Mrs. Hankins has taught in the Waco ISD for ten years and recently taught second grade at St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School. Her husband Barry is a professor in the History Department at Baylor University where he also serves as the Graduate School Director. She has three grown sons: Coleman lives and works in West Texas; Hunter works at Barnes and Noble and will be married in December before heading to Fuller Seminary in Pasadena; and Michael B. plays football at the Air Force Academy. As well, she has a step-son and a recently married step-daughter.
