Strengthening Co-Curriculars and Community
This year marks a renewal and rebranding of the Acorn Society as a cornerstone fund of the school. Previously known as our annual fund that supported the general operational needs of Live Oak, gifts made to the Acorn Society will now directly support fine arts, athletics, teacher appreciation, and other events and programs that foster school community.
Funds raised through the Acorn Society will empower the vital efforts of longstanding parent organizations like Parent Council and Booster Club, as well as new groups like Friends of Fine Arts.
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
