Decidedly Christian. Distinctively Classical.

Community

Loving God with all our hearts, souls, and minds.

Shaping Our Students’ Lives

Spiritual Life & Service

Spiritual life and service are core values that indelibly shape our students’ lives. Through weekly chapel, advisory groups, and communal prayer, we encourage every student to entrust their heart and mind to God’s provision. Students also learn that their faith calls them to a life of service. Individual and campus-wide service commitments foster teamwork, empathy, compassion, and a sense of duty to one’s neighbor.

Together In Community

Culture & Traditions

Our treasured culture and traditions draw students together in community and creates lifelong bonds. Among the most cherished aspects of our culture is our house system which fosters camaraderie, connection, and a fun-filled spirit of competition among students of all ages. Families also hold a special place in the Live Oak culture as they come together during special services and ceremonies to celebrate important moments and rites of passage along the educational journey.

Educating The Whole Child

Live Oak Athletics

Our commitment to educate the whole child is exemplified through our athletics program. At Live Oak, we view team and individual sports as co-curricular rather than extra-curricular endeavors, meaning that they are extensions of and complement classroom learning. Whether it be our Ready Bodies program for our youngest students or an array of varsity sports for high school competitors, our athletics program fosters qualities such as perseverance and humility that will serve our young men and women for years to come.

Celebrating The Ultimate Creator

Fine Arts

At Live Oak, we celebrate and honor the ultimate Creator through our fine arts program. Through music, studio art, and performing arts, our students have the opportunity to discover their inherent ability to create and express beauty, all for the glory of God.

What Live Oak Means To Our Community
While putting my 4 year old child to bed we normally sing songs as he drifts off to sleep that are gospel or hymnal songs. After three months of being a Junior Kindergarten student at Live Oak, my son informed me that tonight he wanted me to sing a new song. I asked him what song, and he replied, “Sing the Doxology, Dad.” He then sang the song for me, and in that moment my heart was touched as I realized the everlasting qualities Live Oak was assisting me as a parent through planting the seeds of songs to God that will carry with my son for a lifetime. This is only one story, and I must say that my heart is touched, changed, and blessed beyond measure by Live Oak through the overflow of my child’s education but even more by his deepening love for our Savior Jesus Christ.
