As the College Advisor, I am honored to inform, guide, and assist our students through possible future fields of study and practice. From walking families through the steps of a college application process to helping students explore vast vocational opportunities, I provide personalized advising and collaboration throughout the high school years. It is my great joy to celebrate with our seniors as they step confidently into the world ahead with the values and skills they cultivated at Live Oak Classical to be used in countless ways, all for the glory of God.
College and Career Advisor Offerings:
- Freshman through senior grade level meetings over college, career, and other development opportunities.
- Year-round visits from college admissions representatives and admissions presentations.
- One-on-one guidance exploring areas of academic and career interest.
- Access to mock PSAT/SAT/ACT testing in preparation for admissions testing.
- During the junior year, one-on-one meetings to identify college prospects and explain steps in the application process.
- Support in planning college visits and summer pre-college academic programs.
- Workshops for college essay and application preparation.
- Celebration of college acceptances and other vocational opportunities!
